Whether you're a beginner or advanced, a child or an adult, Studio Coïncidanse offers a variety of programs in both recreational and competitive dance. Explore the world of dance through our specialized classes tailored to all levels.
COUNTRY DANCE
Studio Coïncidanse is pleased to offer country dance classes since September 2023. Follow us on our Studio Coïncidanse Country page to stay up-to-date on the various events and classes taking place throughout the year. No registration is required. Simply show up on Tuesday evenings at Studio Coïncidanse (11 Buteau, Hull sector). 6:30 p.m. - beginner level, 7:30 p.m. - novice level.
Starting in January 2026, the intermediate level will be offered a few times during the session at 8:30 p.m., depending on demand.
How does it work?
Each week, you will learn a new dance for each level, as well as review the dances from previous weeks.
The session resumes on Tuesday, January 6th 2026, but since no registration is required, simply show up any Tuesday until the end of May.
$10/evening (cash/card)
OUR PROGRAMS
Courses Offered:

For Toddlers (2 to 4.5 years): A fun introduction to dance.

For Children (5 to 10 years): Learning basic steps and further development in a stimulating and dynamic environment.

For Teens (11 years+): Continuing the dancer's development towards novice and intermediate levels.

For Adults (18 years+): A range of classes from beginner to advanced levels, depending on the discipline and session.
Objectives:
The recreational program aims to awaken creativity, develop fine and gross motor skills, foster socialization, and introduce the world of dance. For teens and adults in the recreational program, dance classes offer a variety of challenges and promote better physical and mental health.
Courses Offered:
A physical activity and dance class with nursery rhymes to develop coordination and gross motor skills. A parent accompanies the child in the class.
Acro dance is a style that combines the use of acrobatics in a dance context. Both boys and girls will develop their confidence, body awareness, flexibility, and balance through various stimulating and fun activities.
Hip hop introduction class where music and nursery rhymes are at the heart of learning urban dance moves. Your child will learn various basic moves during the session and develop their social skills. Lots of fun ahead!
In a 1 hour and 15-minute class, learn various beginner-level acrobatic techniques while continuing to develop jazz dance moves.
Dance, move, sing, and even do crafts like a real princess! You can come to each class in your favorite princess dress to experience a different adventure every week with the head princess of your group.
This class is designed to get you dancing as much as possible! Less focused on technique, it’s here to help you explore choreography in different styles every week. Whether it’s lyrical, contemporary, Broadway, street jazz, or Latin, this class will help you develop your interpretation and enjoyment of dancing!
Do you want to perfect a style you already practice? Do you want to work on a move you're struggling with? Do you want personalized tips to improve? Whether it's jazz, ballet, tap, or acro dance, take a 30-minute private lesson with a teacher all to yourself and see the difference in your dance journey!

The Studio offers a street jazz/hip hop dance teacher for children's parties, whether you're a student with us or not! Recommended for children aged 5 to 12, Studio Coïncidanse is the perfect place to celebrate your child's birthday without worrying about cleaning before or after the event. We provide all the necessary tables and chairs for your guests. Party packages start at $175 and vary depending on the number of guests and the length of the rental. Room decoration, snacks, and cake are available for an additional fee.
Typical Party Flow:
2:00 PM - Arrival of parents with the birthday child, preparation of the room (setting up decorations, unless we take care of it).
2:15 PM - Arrival of guests (15 minutes).
2:30 PM - Dance class with our instructor.
3:10 PM - Filming the choreography learned with the group (for a keepsake of the event).
3:15 PM - Snacks/cake, gift opening.
4:00 PM - Departure of guests.
